I need quick ways to get rid of a cough. My baby is only 17 days old and I have a horrible cold (so does she poor thing). BUT the biggest issue is that I had a second degree tear. Coughing hurts like mad. Please help! I've suc.king on zinc and popping vitamin c in addition to my prenatals but I feel like I'm going to explode every time I cough!

I'll have to check into the powder form. And honey is something I can try here at home at least. My go to is to su.ck on butterscotch candies but I don't want to run to the store.

Instead of the vitamin c pills have you tried the powder form? My aunt has it and I've used it to help and it works really good. I don't remember the brand name, but you could prolly find it at a health store or something. Gurgling walm salt water, a tablespoon of honey, cough drops.
