pack n play
so I was looking at crib options, and my mom suggested a pack n play. so I did a little research and found that little to no people reported back problems in their children from letting them sleep in a pack n play, and there are also mattresses and sheets made specifically for a pack and play. What do you guys think? I'm a little hard pressed for money, and of course I would get a crib later on, but would a pack and play be okay for the first few months?

yes it is i got a piece if foam and had my father-inlaw sow a sheet on it needless to say i have had this foam for almost 11 years and my son daughter niece and now my 4 month old son is using it i love my pack n play Xa sleeps in it downstairs and in his crib at night my crib is also my first sons lol got good use out of it

I used a pack n play for the first few months of my sons life and he didnt have any issues at all sleeping or being uncomfortable...my suggestion is you make sure you buy a pack n play that comes with a built in bassinette which most decent pack n plays do come with...good luck :)
where do you live
Dont the pack n.plays come with a bassinet? If so then you would use that for the first few months..then shortly after that hopefully youd be able to buy a crib
there are, but the prices for the cribs there are almost as expensive as the brand new cribs in the stores.
