My doctor did it at the first appointment but only because it had been over a year since my last one

I've had one on my first appointment with all three of my boys....it's just routine here I guess

I know under a certain age they dont do one, and they do one every two years i think. I had one done the year before i got pregnant so i really didnt need one anyways. I think they mostly do it to check for infections. I think....im not sure. They may do it later too, i cant really remember since i didnt get it done.

Well I am 13 weeks and 2 daya and I go to the doc aug 22nd if we r home and she didnr say anything like that at my laat doc appt at the end of july

Ask your dr. I think mine wanted to do one at 14weeks but i very nicely refused to get one as my family is prone to getting miscarridge after getting pap smears done. Im not sure if its related but i didnt want to take a chsnce. But your dr should tell you before hand that he will be doing the test on the next appt. They shouldnt just suprise you with it.
