HCG level too low?

Hi All
I had a missed miscarriage and D&C last year, which was awful. It took 3 months for my period to return so we could start trying again, which only happened because I started on chinese herbs and accupuncture.
Now I am pregnant again, which is both exciting and nerve racking.
My last period was on 12th January, which would make me just over 6 weeks.
After two very faint positives on my home pregnancy tests, I went to the doctor 5 days later and had a blood test (when I would have been just over 5 weeks pregnant).
I got the results today and my HCG level is at 75. I have had a look online and this seems to be normal, although I cant help worrying that it may be too low.
Has anyone else had such a low reading at 5 weeks?
I took another home pregnancy test a few days after the blood test and that was a very strong positive.
Any advice or reassurance would be appreciated. I really hope this one turns out well.
:)

I agree- it doesn't matter what the level is at so long as it is doubling every 72 hours. Each woman's levels will be different.

it's more about your hcg levels doubling every 72 hours than trying to find out what's going on from just one hcg level. if your other test lines were faint and then you got a strong positive afterwards, my money's on you still being pregnant.
