Weight gain?

I am 27 weeks and so far I have gained 28 pounds. (7pounds the past 3 weeks) my dr told me today to be cautious about what I eat so I don't keep gaining so rapidly. I feel like after the baby I'm gonna stay big. Like all the "extra" weight I'm gaining is goin to stay. :( makes me feel depressed. How much did y'all gain and did it all go away?

I gained 33 pounds with my first baby and so far with this baby I'm 23 weeks and gained 6 pounds. I lost all my baby weight by the third month, i breast fed for 2-3 weeks and that helped with swelling.

I had an appt today and the first thing she says is "mm mm mm, what did we talk about last time. You gained 7 pounds in three weeks". I didn't really start gaining weight until about a month ago. I just woke up one day and gained 20 pounds lol. But now I'm alway hungry. So I guess I should just start snacking all day on granola bars. I lost 55 pounds before I got pregnant and now I weigh as much as I did before I lost weight. (I know it's bc I'm pregnant) but its just depressing to think I might not go back to normal! D:

When you calculate your weight gain, don't think of it as fat gain, you have to count in, the amniotic fluid, the placenta, water retention, and your growing uterus and baby!!!! If you can and aren't high risk try walking or light exercise it helps with weight gain and with delivery!!! And different women hold weight differently, so don't worry too much i know its hard, but try and do things to make yourself feel sexy and beautiful it boosts your mood and self image! Your brewing a baby lol your going to gain weight, but you will lose it trust me!

I gained 80lbs with my son,  lost 40 with my daughter,  and at 4 months with my third I haven't gained or lost anything.  After both of my previous pregnancies I went back to my average weight without trying or changing anything I was doing.

I lost all my baby weight with my daughter pretty quick. I had her Nov 27th and by christmas, I was in my regular jeans (size 3).I'm 25+3 and have only gained one pound. It might just be water, but still try to eat healthy. :)

Blehh I wouldn't worry too much.. I was due yesterday, but she's still not here, I've gained about 57lbs, my doctor told me that its probably a lot of my fluid retention. I used to eat about 8 times a day, then I wasn't as hungry and since I was about 30 weeks, I only eat maybe 3 times and I've gainedore weight since I cut back. Loll
