period after a month

So it's been a month since my c section. I quit bleeding a week ago and today I have light bleeding and even passed a clot. I'm confused if I'm getting my period or if my body is still trying to clean itself out after the c section. I thought 4 1/2 weeks after was a little early to get it :/

Nope, I had my son almost 7 weeks ago, stopped bleeding a 4 weeks had nothing for almost 3 weeks then started my period the other day. I knew it was coming I had cramping & just the general feeling. And this is by far the worst period I have ever had and I've had 3 c-sections. But I also had a tubal with this one, just watch it if its gets heavy like a pad an hour call your ob

Ita really light. Like so light it's not even getting to the pad. Just when I wipe. I guess I'm gonna have to wait and see if it gets heavier. I thought I wasn't due for another month lol caught me by suprise

After i had my baby i bled for 6 weeks, stopped for one then started my period. but it started really light just like you explained it. i think its ur period

I bled for 8 days after my csection, then had my first period exactly 30 days after my csection. It was extremely heavy and full of clots. I went to the doctor and made them look at it lol. They said the first few periods after the baby would look like that. They were about quarter size. If they are bigger than that then I would be worried. I hope everythings ok!

Thank you ladies. I was worries I had opened a stitch or something lol it probably is my period.

Oh no trust me you'd know if you opened a stitch, you'd be in pain and at 4 weeks post op you are healing internally at this point

We've had sex several times. Idk I would start bleeding 12 hours after it though. It's still really light. No cramping. I figured it would've gotten heavier if it was my period

I stopped bleeding around 2 weeks PP after my c-section, and 2 weeks later started my period, had one exactly a month later, then nothing until about a month ago. Definitely could be a period, it takes a while for things to really settle back in so it could be anything really.

@vro don't say that! We did have a slip up and didn't use a condom. Bought a box the next day and it hasn't happened since

She's awesome! My little piggy lol weighs 8 pounds now and is starting to focus on mine and her dad's face. She even stares at the mobile in her crib now
