Possible miscarriage

I went to the doctor today and  they say my baby is measuring two weeks behind what it should be. They also couldn't find a heartbeat. I am 100% sure of my last menstral. I'm extremely scared. Has anyone else ever had a scare like this?

Thanks. Everyone has told me to have high hopes for a "just in case" situation including my fiancé. I just don't want to be more upset. It's so hard to think of that possibility especially because we wanted it so bad

i would have the dr's have another look but when i had to have a d&c i still had all symptoms and no bleeding either, dr called it a missed m/c

I'm supposed to be seven weeks and six days. I still have not had any spotting or anything out of the ordinary. Still vommiting and everything. Could it be a mistake or should I prepare for the worst?

the only time i actually had this particular scenario happen i had to have a d&c; however, with this pregnancy i had some spotting, and couldn't find hb at about 6 weeks and a week and a half later baby was great and baby is still great.
