pineapple..

Ok my question is does eating fresh pineapple make you go into labor?

today for dinner we decided to make hamburgers with grilled pineapple. we bought fresh pineapple and as i was cutting it i was eating some (bout 1 hr ago) as i was eating dinner i started getting cramps and am still getting some like every 10-15 mins maybe they last like 2-5 mins. could it be that maybe i may have eatin to much?

I've been eating a lot to try to soften my cervix. My dr actually told me it does help soften it if you eat enough of it lol I'm 38+5 though

ok. I probably just ate to much or something.. Im fine now.. im 35+3.

it worked for me, i was 0cms dilated and no progression of cervix at my 40 week appt. on my due date. went home ate 2 whole fresh pineapples and went into labor that night! my mouth was numb but it worked haha!

Ya I heard you really have to eat like 7 raw pineapples for that to work, I was gonna but I'm pretty sure my mouth would fall off by then

I've heard that eating fresh pineapple softens your cervix . But you would have to eat 2-3 whole pineapples to actually go into labor. I don't think that eating a few chunks will cause labor , or cramps ..
