I m guessing u ll need to take gallons of it to induce labor... One glass of pineapple juice once in a while wont hurt... Its very good resource for blood pressure, heart burn and stomach indigestion... However as other ladies said if ur cramping persist and increasing by tiime or u start bleeding or loosing water just go to er straight away.... N oh cold pineapple juice is very good for calming anxiety... If u start diarrheo thn u r getting a side effect... Take care of urself. .. I would recommend lying down.... Keeping ur feet up until pains reduce or go away.... When i get bad cramps i usually stay in bed thn after a while it goes away... Pineapple is cold fruit so it can cause joints pain aswell...

See with the comment ' I want trying to induce' I wasn't sure if it was, I wasn't, I was or even I want. With the horrible grammar and English I see on here I wasn't clear at all. Well then I'm in love w pineapple juice. It shouldnt be a problem right??

Fresh pineapple contains Bromelain which can also soften the cervix . But it is said that it takes large quantities to have any effect which can also result in diarrhea. Some women say that they’ve had zero problems having plenty of pineapple and pineapple and pineapple juice during pregnancy and others claim it brought on labour.

It depends on women to women.... I hve never been told to avoid pineapples as it is one of the old wives story... I dont think ur cramps were due to that... Pineapple is a good nutrition fruit could be possible its giving u other side effects such diarreheo or stomach cramps... Ur big colon goes through left side which can hurt when u r constipated or have loose motions...

What urs doctors have suggested?

Sometimes back labor won't be seen on the monitors. my ex sil was like that and they sent her home while in active labor. told her she had gas. She had him within a few hours
