Glavez, if you happen to live close to the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex I know there are plenty of options to have your placenta encapsulated.
I'm planning to have that done for mine! Some people freak out about it, but you lose so many hormones and nutrients with it and only makes sense to do it IMO :)
wow I might really do this especially cz u feel drained after u give birth. I hope its around that same price here in texas ..
Depends on who does it. In the Seattle area dulas charge around $150. Its really good for you and your baby. They bake it and dehydrate it and food process it so it turned to a powder. Look up placenta encapsulation to find out how much it costs in your area
Bump
Id like to know how, much it costs as well
How much does it cost to have it out in pill form?
It has a ton of hormones that your body loses during delivery as well as vitamins and nutrients. I'm getting mine turned into pills as well some tincture. It's supposed to help against PPD and help with milk supply too. The tincture you can even save until you're going through menopause to help with hormone therapy. If you google it tons of stuff will come up.
What does it do for you /?
What does eating your placenta do to you? How does it help? This might be a stupid question but wouldnt that be a form of cannibalism because a placenta is a flat organ?
I never would, but my friend did. But for some reason she thought it was some sort of delicacy and she said it was the nastiest thing in the world.. She thought if she didn't eat it that the hospital would look down on her for it... I'm like Sarah we live in ohio not a different country where it is customary to eat it... Lol
I got mine made into pill form, i got to watch the whole process of it! It was nasty but I'm tellin ya I could phisycally feel the difference after I would take them! The only thing that kept me sane! I highly recommend it, now eating it raw like in shakes and stuff I couldn't do lol
