naturally inducing labor

I'm 39 weeks on Friday. the doctors don't want me going past 39 weeks. Wednesday morning we are going to be scheduling my induction. I'd much rather induce labor on my own than have the hospital do it for me. so what are THE best ways to help move this along in hopes of bringing Noah out without the hospital forcing it?

Yea I read nipple simulation will put you in labor. Like if you used a breast pumped.

thanks guys. looks like I'm out of options and just gotta let the doctors do their thing. I was really hoping to not have to be induced. the thought terrifies me, but I've tried everything else. this stubborn little boy just doesn't wanna come out.

Walking, staying upright, castor oil, sweeping the membranes, breast/nipple stimulation all work. Getting medically induced has a lot of bad possible effects. Not to mention worse contractions. I hope you can naturally induce! Good luck.

I know this is going to sound crazy but if you give yourself an orgasam it will kick start labor!

I've never tried it but I've heard nipple stimulation works too :)

sex isn't an option for me. baby daddy and I aren't together and my bf and I just broke up last month. I'm a solo momma ):

Sex helped me lol, red raspberry leaf tea and walking sometimes helps too. I wouldn't advise castor oil though some do though

I don't even know if I'm dilated. the idiots have yet to check me. :/ I could be dilated and I'll never know.
