so frusterated

Is it possible if your iron levels were high and really good in the beginning of my pregnancy to drop and be low now?? I looked up anemia and I have every symptom. As some of you know I've been having problems with dizziness and fainting but its getting out of control I also have problems with breathing and my heart going very fast. I know it can't be dehydration or low blood sugar so I called my dr. I asked them to check my iron but they said it would be pretty rare for it to drop low enough to give me these problems since my levels were so good in the begining of pregnancy. Can they be wrong?

Yes it is! My levels were good in beginning and felt like poo for like a month before my 28 week check up/glucose testing and my iron levels were really low..I feel so much better now since I'm on an iron medication! If they wont check your levels just go and buy an iron supplement from like wal mart or vitamin store and see if you start feeling better, took about a week for me, I was feeling exact same way as you..good luck hun :)

My levels were fine and around 20 wks I felt like my iron was low and I asked my midwife to check because I've had low iron before, she said everything I was feeling was normal pregnancy symptoms and my iron would still be the same as the last time they checked it...well I moved and switched doctors and sure enough they checked my iron and it was low. Its common during pregnancy to develop anemia tho cause the babys basically sucking yu dry of everything

I am anemic and I had no clue until a week or two ago... I have all the same things you have so I would push them to let you have testing done or just start taking an extra iron supplement one a day and see if it helps... It takes about a week to make you feel 100% normal again.

Just said it would be rare and the nurse keeps saying she has no idea what could be wrong but if I have every symptom why not just check

I've seen some ladies develope anemia later in their pregnancy so I don't see why it'd not be normal.. did your Dr say they'd test to see or just told you it'd be rare?
