Cramping is a normal pregnancy symptom. If it is painful and you have pain on one side then you would need to have a sonogram to make sure you're not have a tubal pregnancy.
Anytime you have bleeding you should report it to your OBGYN. Do you have a doctor? Bleeding doesn't necessarily mean miscarriage. I would get to the bottom of it as soon as you can so you can put your mind at ease.
I am so sorry for what your going through. I just m/c'd my baby two days ago and am still bleeding. I definitley also think that cramps aren't good and seeing blood isn't good either. I am surprised that the clinic didn't do an ultrasound! Or at least take your blood and see if the numbers double or drop. I would call your doc immediately and do an ultrasound followed by a blood drawn and then another blood draw 48hrs later.
I hope I am not scaring you either, but I am definitely trying to give an honest opinion and on the flip side everything might just be fine! I know that when I was preg with my first everytime my period came around or I should say should've came around cuz I was preg I actually would have light light cramps for a couple days. Also I have a friend that bled all the way through her pregnancy during the time when she should've had a period and the baby was fine. So this doesn't just mean your having a m/c and please don't give up hope! I would just call your doc and get it then you will know a lot more! Good luck!
cramping and bleeding or spotting while pregnant is not normal. i lost my 16 weeks baby girl just last june 24th. on my 11th week before, i started bleeding so i ask my dr about it and i found out that im a placenta previa.. im taking isoxilan to avoid losing my baby.. then i started to feel the pain last june 23.. the cramping is real painful,, and on june 24th, i lost my baby.. if i were you, you better get an appointment with your dr., that would be a big help.. do it for your baby,, because losing a baby is really painful. good luck!
Anytime you bleed in the beginning of pregnancy especially you should see your doctor right away. However, it doesn't always mean miscarriage. When I was 6 1/2 weeks pregnant I had light pinkish bleeding when I went to the bathroom followed by about 30 min or more of cramping so I went to the ER. The baby was just fine and I guess it is common for most pregnant women to experience some sort of bleeding in the 1st trimester. Also, when I was 10 weeks pregnant I was in bed and felt a weird wetness--turned on the lights and I was bleeding real heavy and the blood was dark red, looked like my period. I freaked out and even started crying. When I went to the doc the next morning everything was fine (I am now 26 weeks pregnant with no more bleeding issues).
I had bleeding at 8 weeks with NO cramping.. I was doing heavy lifting, I went to the docs the next day and everything is fine I am 3 months. But you should always be seen with any bleeding during pregnancy.
Good Luck
