What does your doctor check for at your postpartum checkup?

I'll be 7 weeks postpartum Wednesday but I am just now getting in to see the doctor tomorrow morning. What do they check for and what "places" do they check? I'm all nervous about it. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be expecting.
I was reading online about some doctors check your "back door" and I can honestly say that freaks me out a little. I don't like anything remotely close to that area. Getting the group b swap was a nightmare for me even though I never felt a THING! It's just the idea that someones in that area Lol I'm weird I guess...

My doctor just checked to see how I was healing, no pap smear, just checked my uterus

I was told that I would be getting a pap test done... dont remember what else she said would happen

Same here. Mine did a pap since I was LONG overdue for a follow-up on an odd result. You should probably expect a birth control discussion as well.

I remember my midwife checking how I healed up and actually had to remove a small part of a stitch that didn't actually dissolve. She also made me "tighten" around her finger to see how my muscles were doing. I don't remember any back "door visits" though! Just after I got my stitches did she do that one. I think that's pretty much it. She actually got me a mirror and I was able to check out my own cervix...cool stuff!
