please help

So I am having really bad heart burn, tums, milk, and bread are no longer helping; does any of you wonderful ladies know of something that can help me with my heart burn - because it really is driving me nuts.

I get really bad heartburn too. I take like 5 tums a day and I take zantac when nothing else helps and it usually does the trick, you just have to wait for it to kick in. mine is usually only really bad at night so I take 2 tums before bed and if it doesn't help I take the zantac. my doctor said not to eat and drink at the same time so drink a glass of water before every meal, wait 15-20 minutes then try to eat without drinking anything. I find it really hard to eat without drinking tho.

Milk never helped me.  Yogurt works in 10 mins
