My baby was fine with them. They give you antibiotics that should be fine for baby. And its more important to protect them from the bacteria. That's what can be harmful. Good luck to you :)

they are good bacteria. group b strep happens when u have to much bad bacteria and the thing about antibiotics the reason people have yeast infections etc are because antibiotics kill good and bad bacteria so probiotics are good bacteria so while the antibiotics kill all bacteria probiotics give good bacteria which helps not get yeast infection and they even regulate ur system. i take them when i found out i tested positive for group b strep i did research and alot of moms. with gbs take them. i take them they just help against uti and alot of things u can ask ur doctor first if u feel.more comfortable but im trying to prepare for my big day and i noe what antibiotics can do.
