possible labour

Hi im a ftm and terrified to go into labour i am 37+4 days i passed my mucus plug over a period of a few days and my cervix is 80% thinned as of two days ago and about 3 cm dilated... i have a terrible throat infection atm and now im very weak and very sick like vomiting along with back pain only in the lower part ive been having sharp pains in my pelvis and im not sure what to do or if im in labor can someone please help

Hey ladies thanks for responding... i went to the er and it turns out i have a terrible throat infection that is causing bh contractions bc of the coughing they also said my lil man could come anytime now and im on antibodies to fight it so im not sick while trying to give birth and wear myself and have to have a c section i will keep updating

i agree. you are probably having contractions. are they regular and intermittent? my friend went into labor with back pains not what you would normally think a contraction would feel like.
with that said, 37 + 4 is safe to deliver. my daughter was born at 38 weeks on the nose (induction) and 110% healthy.
keep us posted, but go to the hospital as soon as possible! don't take no for an answer.

Oh my goodness i would freak out. i dont know anything about labor but your scaring me. I dont think i would listen to my dr if he said nothing to worry about. when your husband gets off work let him shower and get yall bags just in case and head to the hospital. just to be on the safe side.

I called they said its nothing to worry about vut if i start to get contractions that last to come in...Canadian health care ***** where i live there morw focused on get you get u out

Do you have anyone that can take you or can your husband leave work? I would definitely at least call ur doctor!

I would but i live 30 mins away and my husband is at work so no way there...im scared it might be something serious
