Im 38 weeks pregnant with baby number two... I have lost my mucus plug and have been having sharp pinching on my cervix that's best described at someone picking away with an ice pick or a really bad paps... has any of the other mommies experience this? I cant remember this with my 1st.

Ive been waiting for pain, my anxiety is killing me cause I know what to feel for... but nothing ill be 39 weeks sunday and that's when I had my first was at 39 weeks so im hoping its a pattern.

Sounds like early labour! As soon as you feel back ache/ period cramps id say this is it :) congrats and good luck!

Ohh yes, it can be an infection, your cervix dilating, baby kicking your cervix/putting pressure on it. If you're having other symptoms of an infection, get it checked, otherwise it may be your body making it's way towards delivery! :) With my daughter that's how I knew I was dilating, and went to the doctor around 34 weeks and was 1-2.
