I'm hoping to connect with other homebirthing mamas. I'm 27, I have 3 children all born at home. We may be expecting #4 this summer.

What was your homebirth experience?

I had incredible midwives and a birth dual. I lived on a tiny island with ferry service that was NOT around the clock. At the birth of my son I called my midwife at 6:15am my son was born at 7. She made it to the birth by 5 min. It was quick! i wouldn't have made it off the island if I'd tried. :) I'm low risk. Perfectly healthy. The benefitsare amazing,  easy and drink when you want to, no driving anywhere to our from during labor our after. Awesome lactation support. my kids were helpers to my midwives! (They got to feel ownership in their siblings)
My husband delivered all of our children! You're baby doesn't get taken away from you, not until after the  placenta is born, and your baby is never out of your sight.
