I had SCH in my first trimester (at least they suspected that's what it was). I did a lot of research on it, and it usually resolves in the second trimester, but can come back in the third and cause issues. I'm sure you spoke with your doctor about this, but you should be on bed and pelvic rest until the bleed resolves. The best thing to do is rest and relax.
Are you on bedrest and complete pelvic rest? If not you should be. Stay really hydrated and lay on ur left side as much as possible because laying on the left side gives optimal blood flow and oxygen to the baby. Rest and relax and hopefully ur little one will stay put! Good luck to u.
no you will be fine i had the same problem it usually resolves around 20ws but it some cases it doesnt but the risks are very low and 90 percent of women dont have any probs and have normal preg and birth besides bleeding. dont stress believe me it makes it worse if ya go to my journal on my profile youll see my posts about it when i went through the same thing
Thanks guys. Nothing I can find talks about it after 20 weeks. I was in LnD after super bowl for dehydration, nurse checked me and said cervix was high and tight. Then yesterday, doctor said cervix was low and dilated at the bottom, along with the bleed. I am really worried that we might be coming a lot sooner than expected.
hey some helpful insight do not stress i did!! i dealt with this from 9w through to 19ws had never heard of it b4 then thye usually asorb themselves for me mine was severe i was in and out of ultrasounds etc and i had 2 bleeds bleed really heavy inc clots and mine resolved around 19w :) i have a happy healthy active little boy am now 25w preg
I have one now, that's starting to go away, but I'm only 15 weeks. I'm sorry I can't help you with yours being in the second trimester but, I'm sure its the same as a first trimester, just monitor it and make sure its getting smaller not larger. If I'm wrong I hope someone corrects me
