pre term labor??

I'm 31w 2d and had to be given shots last night to stop labor. Today, the contractions aren't as frequent but I still feel alot of pressure.  Am I more likely to give birth before I'm full term since they've already had to stop it once?? Can I request the steroid shot to help her lungs develop just in case??

They will keep giving you the shot to stop labor up until 36 weeks. It doesn't always mean you will go early. With my second I had preterm labor starting at 29 weeks. I delivered my son at 37 weeks. There is a test they can do to see your chances of delivering in the next few weeks. They will more than likely do that before the steroid shot.

If you are dehydrated, it can send you into labor too.  Go get checked out!
