They don't induce you right away, they monitor you and your blood pressure for the rest of your pregnancy. The drs don't induce until they think its medically necessary which isn't until your third trimester at least most of the time. Plenty of women make it full term before having to be induced. But if this is something you're worried/curious about ask your dr next time you go in, they all have different policies
To add to that they usually put you on bed rest
I had it with my first pregnancy and I was always admitted. It started at 30 weeks but I wasn't induced, she came a day before my due date but she was underweight. She's 15 months now and doing great.
My friend has had high blood pressure for a couple weeks now was put on bed rest and was just induced today. She is only 34w4d. So it really just depends I guess
I'm only 34 weeks do u think they will induce me if I have preclampcia? I have almost all the symptoms
It'll depend on how bad it is. They'll likely want you to stay pregnant til at least 37 weeks.
I was preeclamptic with baby #1. It was caught at 28wks. I spent 2 days in the hospital being monitored then released home to strict bed rest. Things got worse, re admitted and recieved 2 steroid shots at 33wks. They were going to induce me at 35wks however I went into labor on my own at 34 & 6. My baby has some jaundice, and some other issues related to a bad delivery but otherwise was released from the NICU 6 days later.
I had hpb and got induced
