inducing labor

I'm currently 39 weeks 2 days. Been having lots of labor symptoms. What are some good ways to kick labor to the next step?

they say the only reason y castor oil is supposed to help is because it helps release ur bowels and ur body is supposed to start naturally  releasing bowels on its own wen its ready for labor..so if u havent been going to the restroom often they  say to take a stool softener and its supposed to do the same as the oil

Yep, I've read about castor oil too. Definitely not worth the risk. I'm going to try sex and walking! Lol :) thanks ladies!

Eh, castor oil is a big no no now.  It can cause dehydration, diarrhea, the baby can pass a stool while in the womb and inhale/ingest it, severe cramps, sometimes labor, but it's not worth the risk.

Walking, walking and more walking, get that baby down into the birth canal and pushing on the cervix. Sex is also suppose to help, you getting an orgasm and also semen can help soften the cervix. Good Luck, you are almost there!!
