Constant cramping at 32 weeks

Another question guys..
Just wondering why I'm having constant cramping in my lower abdomen? It's been continuous for the last 4 hours, haven't been able to sleep at all.. Midwife checked babys position yesterday and baby is fully engaged. Me and my partner had sex earlier, maybe it's from this?

Cramping feels like bad menstrual cramping as if my period was due, no matter what position I try it just won't stop, walking round makes it feel worse! Iv just taken paracetamol, just waiting for it to kick in.. Stomach isn't tensing and Iv not experienced braxton hicks before.

I didn't get checked internally by my midwife, she checked through my abdomen! I think sex had a contributing factor! Menstrual cramps stopped after 5 n half hours from when they started, then non painful contractions kicked in, they were just uncomfortable... They were regular every 7 minutes consistent for an hour.. Then all stopped! Stomach is now so tender, and I feel very nauseous! Paracetamol hasn't done anything for any of the above..

It could be from sex and being checked by your midwife.
