Curious as to why we complain about these things RANT!

Okay so, I've had my fair share of issues & in no way is this post meant to offend or hurt anyone in any way. This post is purely to start conversation to see if any others moms, (ftm or otherwise) feel this way too.

I struggled with weight my whole life, extremely thin to over weight ( I was 165-175 lbs on a 4"11 frame) down to 115 at my best for 2 years before becoming pregnant. I've done a pretty good job of gaining steady weight so far for the sole purpose of baby & my health.

Now, I was thinking to myself about the things in life that will change. Will i have saggy boobs?butt? Will my tummy be flat ever again? Stretch marks? Etc.. Then i said, does it really matter!!?? I'm growing a baby! Why should i care? Stretch marks are my battle scars, whether i like it or not i may not be part of the percentage that "bounces right back" & honestly i don't care.

So i guess it kinda upsets me when i see or hear women say "omg I'm so fat!" Lady, it's your baby, not fat regardless of your starting weight. Or "I hope i fit back into my size 1 jeans". I hope you do too. But! If you don't? Sorry if this offended anyone. I think pregnancy & all it offers is beautiful. DON'T GET ME WRONG! I too have days of  insecurity & doubt after pregs. I just think we need to realize just how much our babies will effect our hearts, & focus less on our bodies. After all, baby loves us mommas no matter what :)

Same here girl! I go to the local icecream shop & i don't even have to order because they know me so well! I compensate for the cold yummy ness by eating as healthy as i can. I'm looking forward sushi & champagne after baby comes too!!

I live out in the country and the closest gym is about 30 mins away from my house. So I have an eliptical and a Gold's Gym weight machine on the back porch and my hubby is the only one that uses them:) I'm lazy when it comes to exercise also

Good for you for keeping your weight at 115! If you did it once you can do it again. When I'm pregnant I'm not gonna lie I treat myself to a brownie sundae from Chick Fil A before every drs appt lol and a large lemonade.
My pre pregnancy weight this time around was 154...I'm now 176 and I'm only 22 weeks. As long as my baby is healthy and my Dr is not concerned about my weight I don't pay it much mind. I've always gained about 50lbs with each of my pregnancies. I have stretch marks and savvy boobs lol but my hubby is very satisfied so I don't pay it any mind. Best of luck to all of you mommies!

Im right there with you about tge gym gatorgrl lol And I used to worry about how my body looked and still have my insecurities but my hubby - who is my rock through all ups and downs - just reminds me that he married me for who I am and not how I looked or dressed. He never says anything about how my body's changed except teases that my boobs have grown and believe me we're both gonna be happy when/if they go back to normal. But if they dont I know he wont mind it.

I absolutely agree! I used to be 'the popular girl' in high school, and I modeled, so I got used to worrying about my body and the way it looks, but as soon as I got pregnant it all changed! I struggled a little bit after I gave birth, but then just gave up worrying after realizing my body will look the way it's meant to as long as I'm healthy, and there is someone out there who will find me sexy.

Lol. At 16-17 I was a bit panicked.
But it wore off after my second whom I had pretty much right after my first.
I have stretch marks everywhere.
I'm very thin started out at 111 and personally love my body during pregnancy.
I get lots of boobs and curves every time ;)
I have been married nearly 6 years and my husband is perfectly content.
His opinion is the only one that matters :)
He calls them my fierce momma tiger stripes lol.
I breastfeed and do whatever I need to too this body for my babies.
I was a model when I was younger and wanted to be miss america lol
But dreams change dramaticly when you fall in love with your first child :)

I agree with u completely. All of us have days when we complain abt our weight or something else. We do it naturally as women without really even thinking abt it. I'm going to be having baby #4 and still have not been able to get back to my baby #1 prepregnancy weight. And i know i probably won't. Its just something i have to deal with since i wanted children. It comes with the territory. I'm much happier spending time with my kids than worrying abt losing all the extra weight. As long as you are comfortable with yourself and your significant other is happy, that's all that matters.

I hear you! This is my third baby and my body was never the same after my first, but I don't care. My tummy always had that pouch left, my butt has stretch marks, and my boobs deflated. My kids are very much worth it, and besides, what were the odds I'd be on the cover of a magazine anyway? Lol. It's not worth worrying about, my husband loves the body that grew and birthed these babies, and I'm still pretty sexy in the dark :P
