Indeed. I believe the term is spontaneous abortion (or something along those lines) I was just checking, because if it's done by a doctor there could be complications due to having the abortion. It's not common, but there can be scar tissue and damage to the uterus causing problems with conceiving in the future. You'll have to see someone to make sure, but this is unlikely to be the case. And Joy also described it perfectly as well. A normal couple can take up to 2 years to conceive and as she said, your body has been through a lot. Just continue to have intercourse on your most fertile days and keep trying.

Clysta- medical term for miscarriage is abortion. Most people in Europe and other countries use the word abortion to mean miscarriage.

Original poster- it can take 6-12 months to conceive. Because you were sick with a serious virus and have been on antibiotics your body most likely needs to recuperate. It has been long enough that your body may be getting back on track and conception could take place soon.

Do you mean you had an actual abortion, or was it a miscarriage?
