pregnancy bleeding

Hello

I am looking for some help. 7 weeks pregnant.
I started losing brown discharge Wednesday night but stopped. Woke up Thursday and had more discharge and by the end of the night is was more string with red blood in. Went for a scan on Friday and all they seen was a empty sac. I was told they think everything is ok as the sac is in the right place but I may just have my dates wrong and that's why they can't see anything yet. Seen then I am still bleeding like and light period and had 1 clot passed the size of a grape but no really bad pain.
I have been booked in for blood test now.

Can anyone help me? Has anyone had this and everything was ok?
Do people this could be a miscarriage?
Any advise would be great

I was in the ER for bleeding at 5 weeks and everything was fine with the baby. They called it a threatened miscarriage buy I didn't miss carry. Now I get pink discharge sometimes & a lot of people have said it happens a lot in the first trimester for women and as long as the blood doesn't increase & you don't have cramps you should be fine.
