I agree with Clysta. It does not make your pregnancy high risk, and unless you had a D&C there is no cause for concern. The reason they ask you to wait one to three cycles is to allow your lining to build up and to help you cope with your loss. I started trying again immediately after my miscarriage, and ended up needing fertility treatments to conceive.
The reason they want to push your initial OB appointment back is because by then the risk of miscarriage is considerably lowered.
Not a problem at all. With a natural miscarriage you don't have to wait at all. A D&C they recommend waiting 1-3 cycles just to allow the lining to build up. Having one previous miscarriage will not make your pregnancy high risk. When was your LMP? It's standard that many doctors will not see you until at least 6-12 weeks pregnant anyways, solely because the risk of miscarriage is much lower after this period and usually can not be prevented.
