oh, I'll be wearing a two piece too!! already found a couple I love!!
I've heard to stay away from hot tubs, but not pools.
I can't swim anyway, so I'll just be relaxing in the shallow end, on the steps, just staying cool.. eating my watermelon & chugging water and/or my favorite slushy drinks!!! lol (((:
as far as clothes, I've found a lot of maxi dresses, maternity tanks/tees, and the ONLY shorts I've found that don't look like "grandma" shorts were at Burlington Coat Factory.. we don't have one around here, but I plan on ordering a couple pair at least to try online. they're only like $15..
if those don't work out, I'll just go to walmart and buy soffee shorts (those comfy cotton shorts).. actually.. I'll probably just do that anyway. 115 degrees is too hot to not be comfortable lol just my opinion!! oh, and I've got to get some sports bras!! ((((:
wow thanks ladies for all the good advice , I looove watermelon so idk why I didnt think to eat it to keep myself cool . yeaa im thinking about getting a nice two piece , I think it would be more comfortable! for my big belly at least lol . any clothes you would recommend wearing?
I was told by some ppl to stay away from pools and hottubs , but then again iv seen many women in them ? whats the deal with that ? any clues ?
Wear what ever the hell you want! Lol but they do have cute mommy bathing suits to help you from getting belly burn. Listen as women we already have insecurities, we don't need to be concerned about no one's opinion while we are pregnant. Live it up! But stay classy lol
When I was about 20 weeks with my son I went to Turkey which at the time was about 40 degree Celsius which is pretty dam hot compared to UK n I found it hard I drank loads could bearly eat due to sickness but I'm 19 weeks now and again going to go thought summer and going away to Italy in 8 weeks which is going to be about 30-40 degree Celsius there so I'm prepaired this time but will be bigger aswell
yeah, I think it's all in what you make it.. I live in SC and it's not uncommon for the heat index to get up to 110, 115 degrees during the summer, but we're all used to it! I mean.. you literally walk outside & it takes your breath away.
the only difference is I'll be a little bigger, hormonal etc. whatever..
I'll be wearing nothing but maxi dresses, drinking lots of water, eating lots of fruit (especially watermelon!), and relaxing in the pool!
just like @hazel413 said: I'm going to embrace it. hot or not, I'll be happy & looking fabulous doing it!!! good luck girl!! (((((:
Im sooo glad i avoided summer with both! Summer is hot, people are out n everything is going to bug you. Well it would me. But embrace it mama pregnancy is only as good as you make it
