No there is no medication to unblock your tubes. A laparoscopy is an out patient procedure with small incisions in your belly button and pubic bone. They use a camera and long instruments to correct your problems. Usually afterwards you will have cramping and some bleeding. It's a minimally invasive procedure. Hope everything goes well. I've had two laparoscopies, they were not that bad for me.

If I understand this right then you were told that both your tubes are blocked. Unfortunately there is no medicine that can be taken to resolve this issue. I had this same procedure done 2 years ago. I ended up having surgery because one of my tubes was blocked. When my doctor got in she found that my tube was not actually blocked. She told me this happens sometimes, but not often. However, the surgery was not a waste because I also got ovarian drilling done to treat my PCOS. I conceived my son naturally 3 months later after having gone through 6 months of fertility treatments before the surgery. I am now 17 weeks pregnant with my second. While this surgery may seem intimidating, it is so worth it. Good luck.
