I'm 37 weeks 2 days and I started to take it at 36 weeks 6 days. I also take evening primrose oil pills! I just want this baby out so bad.. I'm done! I've been walking like crazy and doing exercises on my ball. I'm not sure if it works either but I haven't had any side effects do far! And baby is still moving lots!

Yup clysta said it. It is a misconseption that it is to induce labour. It is not to be taken before 37 weeks. Its ment for uturin health and ripening. No medical studies have proven this but many women swear by it. Its main intent is to shorten the pushing stage of labour. In addition to this it is said to promote and increase breast milk for right after delivery and all through breast feeding. And added bonus it tastes great. But you need to get it from a health food store or insure it is not just raspberry leaf flavoured tea. It wont do you any goos if you dont have the real stuff. And its highly recommened you ask your doctor first just because of the small contractions it can cause

I took it with my daughter starting at 37 weeks. Didn't do anything for me. It doesn't really start labour, just helps your uterus prepare.
