Induced , To expect??

Being induced next week at 39 weeks.  What should i expect ?

I was induced at 38 wks because my amniotic fluid was low, but I was already 4 cm. My experience wasn't that bad. I just didn't like not being able to get out of bed. It made it harder to deal with the contractions. Hope this helps! Good luck!!!!!!

I was 38 weeks when I got induced and baby wasn't ready to come so it took 2-3 days for him to arrive! Day 1: put a pill up my vagina to soften cervix. Nothing happened. Day 2: they inserted a gel into my vagina. It helped slightly. Day 3: they broke my waters at 9 am.  Started having contractions at around 12. I was moved to delivery where they had me on a drip of pitocin (to increase contractions) and at 3 I had my little man. I have heard alot of women say that induction is alot worse than natural labour but induction have nothing to compare it too. Best of luck! xx
