This is my 7th pregnancy and I have severe vomiting! I eat very slowly when I can. The one thing that can help is taking Vitamin B6 which helps with this. The baby will be OK but the more she is dehydrated the more she will vomit. Ginger is great and this is what I use every day. Hope this helps. I would advise aginst any meds int he first trimester a the baby is developing. Also caffine will cause her to dehydrate more and dehydration can cause cramping so I would also advise against caffine. Finding the best thing she can hold down is the best and eating it in very small segments. HOpe she feels better soon! It passes for most woman in the second trimester

I threw up everyday, all day with my first son until the day I delivered. Most women feel better after their first trimester, but I am not that lucky. Even with this one, I am still throwing up and I am 22 weeks. Ginger Ale is  something that worked sometimes for me, as is saltines, though sometimes they would make it worse. Smaller meals throughout the day is also recommended as is not drinking anything while you eat. Tell your daughter to hang in there, it is worth it in the end. :)

coming off of an anti-depressant can cause vomiting. She can speak to her doctor and they can prescribe her something for the nausea (ask about Phenergen or Zofran...i find that phenergen works better but it makes you sleepy, zofran does not.) Is her doctor monitoring her weaning off of paxil? If so, he should be made aware of her problem and should be more than willing to prescribe something for her nausea. Good luck...unfortunately many women throw up in their last trimester even without the added difficulty of the med your daughter is going through....but she shouldn't have to suffer.
