So I read that nipple stimulation can induce labor. i used my breast pump for an hr yesterday and about 2hrs later started to get consistent BH. Then I noticed through out the day I had very light red discharge when using bathroom. So I went walking for a while last night, and all night I kept waking up to menstrual like cramps...I only feel it in my front abdomen so I'm assuming its still BH...but within past hr they seem to be getting stronger and it hurts!!  Very consistent like every 5 min...So I think this is an early sign...

So the breast pumping really did work? My use date is Monday and I am wanting to "induce" labor myself if you will.

Hey ladies. .im 39+4.... no colostrum came out to my surprise... ! But I went to doc n found out I am having contractions but they r about 10 min apart n a lil inconsistent...they sent me home n ill be back once they get 5 min apart or waterbreaks.  Ohh and it hurts! Lol  but hopefully I will see him soon

Using the pump for nipple stimulation doesnt pump ur colostrum out??? Sorry just curious lol i want to try it if i need to too when the time comes

I'd rather not go into labor today though cause it's my mom's bday. I might shoot for my actual due date tmrw lmao

Menstral cramps like that aren't normally braxton hicks.  Early labor cramps you ferl more in your lower abdomen.  5 min apart sounds like you could be in active labor!  Thats normally when you should call your doctor, when they are 4-5 min apart.
