It's because medicade is cheap and they don't want to pay for the expensive kind... and the pharmacy needs to get an okay for whatever brand medicade switches you to. .. it's a pain
I heard of the glorious gummies but I have to have mine prescription according to my docs prescription... And I still am switching to Walmart pharmacy this Walgreens drives me crazy
Go to walk mart and get some Chewy prenatal vitamins they have everything your regular prenatal do. And they taste great
They are suppose to be for months in advance I call to get it refilled the pharmacy says okay!! I go to pick it up they say oh we don't have it we tried to call the doctors office no one answered I call the doctor they say no one has called them they call in prescription pharmacy say oh they called we sent back a list and they didn't approve this happens twice before I get vitamins
Ask your doctor to give you a couple months supple prescription at a time that way it saves you time, you wont have to worry about it for a few months. Mine are also over the counter so I've never had to deal with any of this.
Mine are OTC and contain 800mcg of folic acid, which is 100% of the recommended daily value... No iron though, I don't need it
Yea I'm anemic its very bad and with low iron and my tiny viens barely giving blood for my tests they had to give me a higher dosage ....and they don't sale 1000 mg of folic acid over the counter and you need that why werent yours prescription

Is there a reason you had to have them prescribed? I just found one over the counter that met all the requirements
