prenatal vitamins

I'm 6w6d and I just bought my own prenatal vitamins. I was wondering if its best to take the ones giving by the doctor or does it not matter?

I brought my own at the beginning too. But even since my first appointment, the nurses there make sure I'm loaded with a bag full of samples so I have been trying out difference brands. Some are better than others. Just make sure you finish the whole week of sample on one brand before moving on to the next. I'm milking these freebies for as long as I can before going back to the store brought one ^_^. They are all good as long as it got DHA in it, the one with two pills.

I had ones from wal mart but i wanted something w a lil more since im a horrible eater when it comes to junk and i needed an energy pick me up so i bought the ones from the herbal store more money yes but i feel much better when i take them and knowing they have fruit and veggie extracts in them is nice!

The ones that the doctor prescribes are really gross, but my doctor said just make sure that you still stay hydrated. They have a nasty smell, nasty taste and are rather hard to swallow. I had this same question because I thought about switching to over the counter.

I've been buying my own. Was told the the ones the give you on my area are chalky, and nasty. I'm not a good pill taker. The ones I buy are gel which make it easier to swallow.

Ive never not bought my own? Im sure its fine to use them... as long as they contain the right levels of vitamins needed...which they should
