dilated to 1 cm and 50 effaced with cramp like pain

I woke up today with alot of cramp like pain and feeling super sick. I did in fact throw up then laid around in pain. The pain seemed to come from lower pelvic to up around my sides but i did not feel the tight feeling I had before when I was having BH or with my per-labor contractions that had to be stopped with drugs.
I had called L&D and was told not to worry and wait till i saw my doctor as I had a appointment today. I was checked and at dilated to 1 cm and 50 effaced.
I was told to keep track of my pain and baby movements and ordered in bed for the rest of the day. She seemed worried about the pain and if it get worse I am to head into L&D.
I wonder what the shot of baby girl coming in the next few days could be. I do know you can be dilated for weeks with nothing happening.

That's how mine is! And its been going on for 2 days now, last nite my doc wanted me to go to l&d so I did bit I was still 1.5cm and 50% effaced so they just sent me home bit I've still been having the same feeling today too

My cramp like feeling has not gone away today. Normally the on and off pain I have been having the last few days would go away. Its kinda of always hanging out. I get the flare ups and it seems to settle but never goes away. I don't feel like its contractions. I have had a few over the last few days but very irregular and much more painful then whats going on now.

I'm 34+1 and feel the exact same except I have had irregular contractions with it too, the cramping doesn't go away, it gets more or less intense bit still is always there, I've been feeling this way since all day and night yesterday, I was woken up a few times last nite cuz the pain was so bad, I have been 1.5cm and 50% effaced for a few weeks now but now within the last hour my contractions have been getting closer together, I had my first son at 36 weeks and the doc has already said I will prolly have this one early too so im thinking its gona be real soon cuz the way I've been feeling is different than my normal feelings.
