I go back May 13th I think for the Nuchal translucency test I didnt really want to know this early...lol..they just blurt things out without thinking people may not want to know....I'll be happy with whatever....My friend knew she was having a boy at 13 weeks ....
Well seeing their boy and girl parts don't start to develope till the 8th week, I wouldn't take anything from any doc until you're ATLEAST 12-14 weeks.
I'm 16w today, and I'm excited to find out what I'm having here in a couple more weeks!
Genitalia doesn't develop until the 11th week. It is impossible to tell the sex before and even at 11 weeks its still too soon to be able to see it clearly. I've heard of people seeing it as early as 13 weeks giving that the fetus is cooperating and the tech is skilled. But really the longer you wait the more accurate the answer will be. I've seen lots of people be told girl/boy at about 13 weeks and then have it change at their 20 week ultrasound.
13 weeks for me, I still remember the technitian saying: Its a girl! :)
this time they told me at 13wks 6 days that i was having a boy. but they said they don't like to tell you that early b/c its not always acurate. but then at my 20wk u/s it was definately confirmed it was a boy, so they were right!!! :)
I was told at the 12 wk ultrasound for the nuchal translucency test. It was pretty obvious even then that I was having a boy.
I dont think I have very hear of someone finding of this early. The "part" start to show at around 13weeks. My dr. tryed at 15w but the unbillcored was between the legs. So at 10w I think its still 50/50......
I was 13 weeks when I found out that I was having a boy...and he was definitely a boy.
I think I saw someone else on here say that they were 11.5 weeks...but that's the earliest that I've seen on here.
