preterm labor at 36 weeks

Okay so im 36 weeks and the 0ther day i was havin contractions about 3 mins apart so i went to my doctors to get checked 0ut and c0mes to find out im already 3 cm dialated so she made me go into labor and delivery to be monitored , iwas there for about 7 hours still having contractions but they sent me home because i 0nly dialted to a 3 1/2 .. how much do u have to be dialated for them to keep you ?

I was dilated to 4 and 100% thinned and I'm not admitted. They gave me a shot to stop the contractions and I was there for two days. I went the weekend and had more contractions and got admitted and another shot.. I ended up stopping contractions and I've been 4cm for the past 4 weeks now and am being induced Monday. I'm 38 weeks

Here in missouri anything after 35 they won't stop it and you have to be a 4 I think.

Oh ok. I was just wondering if they were going to I was gonna say keep on your feet and walk walk walk since you're progressing quickly but wait till your 37 weeks in that case.

No she told me if i went into labor they werent gonna stop it , i believe she told me that at my 34 week appt

You could stay there for awhile even... Are they going to let you deliver early? Most doctors try to stop it until 37 weeks

Okay thanks cause i dialated to a 3 within a couple days , i had my appt the other day and wasnt dialated at all then went in a 2 days later because of contractions and i was at 3

I don't know about where you live but here in Georgia you have to be a 4 before they will admit you
