Have any of you felt like you look pale after having one? I had one a week ago tomorrow, and I feel so pale because of the extra blood loss. Also, did your bleeding have a smell to it? Omg I feel disgusting there's like a weird smell to it, just wondering if its normal. I know I don't have an infection.

Lol well I;m taking mine but only twice a day instead of three cause I don't like the side effects lol :o    But it doesn't do much for my colour, just makes me feel less wooxy when I sit up from lying down or stand up lol.   I feel like I need to shower every time I go to toilet, its awful...don't know if I fancy another 4.5 weeks or so of this...... x

Mommabear, I totally feel you on that! Definitely feel disgusting right now lol. I threw my liquid iron out, now I'm wondering if I should have kept it

I'm the same, I had one 11 days ago, and I'm so pale, the midwives keep writing it in my notes at their visits and I'm like give me some slack lol.   If I'm going out, I tend to put some foundation on just so I don't look quite so deathly.   It doesn't help that I'm still bleeding quite heavily, and my haemoglobin count is low so I'm on Iron tablets for that, but its awful   :/   I feel so disgusting lol x

I was really pale almost looked jaundice yello it was bad.

Yes def I looked like a raccoon dark under my eyes and very pale. And the bleeding I don't remember but I def did bleed A LOT lol

yes and yes! haha, i was pale for about 3 weeks honestly.. even after i felt great, and the bleeding will smell funky and may also look a little yellow/orange tinted mucousy, it's lochia. if it gets worse though def. mention it to your doctor

I'm a ftm so I can't answer your question, but maybe your pregnancy glow is gone :) the blood loss makes sense though!
