I took the pills and inserted them vaginally and I went into labor a week later. I don't know how much they helped

I'm 37wks and my Dr suggested nipple stimulation sex and epo .. I AM NOT DILATED AT ALL and my cervix is still high and I was told to try these things to help bring my cervix down and help efface and dilate it .. but no one can tell u how long it will be until u have baby not even ur dr unless being induced and even then it can take days to have baby

Squatting is an optimal birth position. It isn't bad.

Oh, EPO does not cause labor. It helps to soften the cervix over time. You can start taking it orally beginning at 37 weeks. You do not insert it vaginally until dilation has started. You should also not take it until you discuss it with your doctor. It is not sage for everyone.

Oh, dear heavens.  People, please do research before you try this mess or suggest things to people.
You are 37 weeks, you could have up to 5 weeks before your baby is born. There is absolutely nothing you can do to bring on labor if your body is not ready. In fact, you can actually be delaying it by stressing your self out about it.
Neither jumping Jacks nor squats will start labor. Nor will they make the cord wrap around your baby's neck. That's absolutely ridiculous. In fact, 1/3 of all babies are born with the cord around the neck and 99% of them are fine.
There is nothing wrong with putting your hands above your head
Pineapple does not start labor. There are some people who believe there is an enzyme in it that can cause contractions. However, you'd have to eat 7-10 entire fresh pineapples to have even mild contractions.
Sex, orgasm and nipple stimulation only help to progress an inactive labor into an active stage. Otherwise, all pregnant women would be told to avoid those things throughout pregnancy. Instead, you are encouraged to have sex, unless you are having preterm labor symptoms.

If squatting was bad then they wouldn't have it as an option in your birthing plan .... They allow women to still work out and run marathons

What ^ ? I have never heard of that happening because of squats just as well as jumping Jacks ? Im a second time mom and hearing that is new to me.. Y do they tell u to bounce on a ball if neither of those r aloud They have u squat on the ball so y can't u squat regularly ? They all have the same concept? Iv heard hands above head isn't aloud as a wives tale but my Dr said it was fine my just do jumping Jacks w out raising ur arms idk maybe I'm wrong I'm really confused after the above comments lol

Yeah squats are bad too that cord is about 16 inches long or even longer and remember you're baby is head down that's highly dangerous i would stop squats and jumping jacks just walk up and down the stairs very fast girl you don't want to strangle you're baby lol be careful

Don't do jumping jacks as that can cause you're baby's cord to wrap round it's neck!! You're baby will come when it's ready stop forcing him/her to come
