What does it mean if your doctor tells you they found protein your urine??

So I actually ended going up going to the hospitallast night cuz iI was very dehydrated and started feeling really nauseous and having some contractions. There was proteinin my urine again so i am ccurrently doing the 24 hour pee test :/

Thanks ladies I go every week now so there gonna check me when I go back next Wednesday but I'll make sure if I start feeling weird to head over the hospital or call my doctor :)

It means u might havr pre eclampsia

My blood pressure was 130/70 and my doc told me it was up there and that if I read 140/70 I would need to go into the hospital so def watch out for that- get checked for ur safety and ur babies

Thank you! I've been getting head aches a lot lately and if I get up too fast I get dizzy. Not sure if this is a factor of high blood pressure or not.

I had preeclamsia wit my son n they Didnt know until i started havin high blood pressure n it got up to 220 &i start having seziers n had to do an emergancy c section. If you start having Really bad headaches where yu start feeling dizzy go straight to emergancy Room hun.

My sister had preeclampsia with her first one. It could be a sign but if your blood pressure is normal just drink water hopefully it goes away!

Im 36 wks and went to the doc today. There was protein in my urine and she said im completely dehydrated

It's one of the signs of preeclampsia  that's why they check it at almost every appointment.

Wondering the same thing here. They been telling me I've had protein in my urine for about 3 months now. And now concerned about my blood pressure and headaches

You need to drink more water.
