Tips for breaking off the bottle that has worked for both my kids is give them a cup with a really soft nipple all day and just give him a bottle at night. Then eventually just give him the cup all day and at night. My girls never missed the bottle because the cup nipple kinda resembled the bottle nipple in a way cause it was super soft. I bought mine at Walmart.
