OK so I went to hospital yesterday due to a rash that has been spreading. I was told it was pupps and was given a prescription for an antihistamine and some cream. The cream burns when I apply it and the antihistamine I am uncomfortable taking as it says not to take the in the 3rd trimester on the information. But without it I get so itchy what do I do?

Thanks ... I am trying anything although my skin is that sensitive that even coconut oil wouldn't agree with me so I am stuck ... the medication didn't seem to be doing much anyway so I think it would be the same if I used it or not ... I wish she would hurry up already she is due tomorrow :(

I have PUPPPS, It is safer to take the antihistamine because if you continue to scratch it and it gets infected that will be much more dangerous for your baby. As far as the cream I couldn't use it as well because I have extra sensitive skin and I would have an allergic reaction on top of it! Cortisone can be used for quick relief and to help your skin heal quick, I would take a shower and put on Cortisone then half way through the day when it would act up I would use Witch Hazel lunch time and before bed. During your shower you can put Coconut Oil on it and then rinse. It Will Help Sooth Your skin. I really hope this helps! I know how miserable you must feel, I have had it for 2 months now and it started when I was 17 weeks along :/
