question about bassinets....

I am a first time mom so please don't laugh. But do they come with a mattress? I got mine with a play yard and mine comes apart so I can but the bassinet with the play yard or keep it by itself. But mine didn't come with a mattress it just came with a cover thing.

My husband and I put memory foam under the little pad mattress it can with.

Okay lol I just didn't know and all my friends and family member either didn't use one or don't remember

Nope that's all bassinet come with is a thin little pad thing that is the mattress basically lol :-) I have a stand alone one and that's all it has then you can buy if you want a little water proof cover for it. I have one on ours then just the little bassinet sheet over it. :-)

Yeah that's what mine came with. But I didn't know if I was supposed to buy a mattress to go with it

I just bought one. It comes with a little soft pad not a real mattress

If its part of a pack and play then they usually do not come with a mattress. U would need to use a soft quilt.... if its a stand alone bassinet then yes it should have a mattress
