Thanks for your answer Lesley. :)
Depending on the dose/strength its duration is 12-24 hours... its Pregnancy category is C which means "animal studies have shown an adverse effect and there are no adequate and well controlled studies in pregnant woman OR No animal studies have been conducted and there are no adequate or well known studies in pregnant woman"... so pretty much the effects really are not known or there have been effects shown but not much has been looked into it... so for sure if you are concerned i would talk to your Dr or phone your pharmacy... they are the medication experts :)
im assuming your not on this for more than a couple weeks so when in doubt you can always just take precautions and skip this month if you have to, just to be on the safe side... if the timing doesnt affect when you ovulate or is off enough that implantation wouldnt have occured then im sure youll be okay... its common for woman to get prego unexpectedly from antibiotics stopping the effectiveness of the BC pill.... and i havent heard any concerns that they were on antibiotics at the time but i am not a Dr or pharmacist, and i dont know the exact type of antibiotic... but just a thought thought :) take care and good luck!
Thanks for your answer. :)
This would probably be a question best answered by your prescribing doctor. All we can do here is google it (if we aren't familiar with it) and kinda speculate.... Don't be shy though :-) I just don't want you accidentally getting misinformed :-(
