The mucus plug is clear and very slimey. When i used the bathroom and wiped each time it was slimey i just thought it was normal . But 5 hours later my water broke which was at midnight and i didn't have any contractions until noon the next day they had to induce me. I was 36 1/2 weeks . But no blood with your mucus plug just clear and very slimey lol

The mucus plug comes first. Its like a cork in a wine glass once that comes out you get whats inside!

Well, some women's water doesn't break and the doctor has to for them. But I'd say the mucous plug gets lost first.
