Did you buy things for baby before your baby shower?

I dont want to but too many things for my baby because I want to see what I get at my baby shower. I'll be 38 weeks by then and im scared I wont have enough time to prepare(or even make it). I have the crib and a box of diapers and 4 sets of clothes. What do you ladies recommend buying now that you didn't get at baby shower or wish u had gotten sooner? Im 36+4

I've bought diapers and wiped, but so many people have already bought me things & I haven't even had my shower yet so I'm gonna wait before I buy anything more.

That* is a whole month and a half supply at least. Id also buy clothes. I had my shower at 6mo and the only thing I got was a stroller abd a diaper bag and a few outfits. I've been stocking up since I foubd out I was pregnant and I have enough to last me several months now. It's always better to over prepare :) good luck and hope you get lots at your shower!

I'd start buying stuff now and keep the reciepts in case someone gets you it at the baby shower. At 38+ weeks you'll be so exhausted and walking around stores will hurt and be tiring. I'd get diapers (check out amazon they're by far the cheapest) and wipes I get 780 at target for 13$ and tha

I'll be 33 weeks tmrw & 36 weeks when I have my shower. I have really bought anything either and I kinda regret it now because I feel so unprepared!! So I'm praying I get basically everything I need at my shower!

Stack up on onesies. Most people get little outfits (most dont think of weather either, i got 3month old shorts n t-shirt and itll be november by then and snowing like crazy lol) diapers....wipes.....crib, bassinet, stroller, car seat.

Get alot of diapers. ive been to so many baby showers and disnt see any diapers as gifts unless there was a diaper raffle or something. also things for safety like chikd locks
