Why do you prop your feet up in early pregnancy? I'm 4 weeks

I didn't during early pregnancy, but later on it helps with swelling.

I never propped mine up in early pregnancy. In late pregnancy with the swelling and discomfort I did though.

I never propped my feet up but I think some pregnant women get swollen feet and propping them up is susposed to help the swelling go down and its also susposed to help the discomfortable feeling.
