Im supposed to be getting induced on Tuesday ill be 39weeks and my family keep saying you are rushing her out man it like i have no support any advice

I understand how u feel I am doing the same thing I just let whatever they say go in one ear and out the other. I trust my doctors and if they think its OK I'm ready!!

As a mother from here on out every ladt decision you make will be criticized by one person or another. As long as you feel its the best and right choice then that is your obligation to your child as a mother. Anyone who cannot respect that you need to be ready to tell thank you for the advice but I stand by my choice. A lot of the older generation fears the dangers of induction bc the u.s. does it and has the highest death rate for infants so they connect it to these newer methods which really are still being studied. I didnt induce until 41wks, but 39 is considered full term momma. Your doctor wouldnt let you if they felt it was dangerous :)
